Open woodland distribution within the boreal forest of Québec (small black dots) among which the Carbone boréal plantations are established. It should be noted that the Carbone boréal programme only comprises open woodlands below the Northern limit of allowable cut (dotted line on the map), and only constitutes a marginal proportion (approx. 600 ha) of total boreal open woodlands (1.6 million ha according to the most recent inventory by Québec’s Ministère des Ressources naturelles et de la Faune).

Here below the general map of Carbone boréal plantation network. Find under this map, the list of annual plantation maps along with data on individual plantations.
